Allinq makes its fleet more sustainable

15 May 2025

For years, you have regularly come across an Allinq van on the street. With over 200 vans on the road, this is hardly surprising. Almost always this is a Ford Transit, with that distinctive diesel hum. But that is about to change…

Peter Hertogh, fleet manager at Allinq, explains: ‘Most of our CO2 emissions are caused by our company cars. Those emissions need to be reduced to meet our environmental targets. By increasing our electric driving, we are making a significant contribution to this. In the case of our Fieldengineers, they drive an average of less than 200 kilometres a day and many of them regularly visit cities. This distance, combined with the environmental zones in more and more large cities, makes it interesting and in several cases necessary to go electric.’

In late February, the first electric vans were commissioned by a number of Fieldengineers. The Ford brand was again chosen; specifically the eTransit Custom. Its range of over 300 kilometres on a full battery makes this van ideally suited to driving emission-free to all jobs. Another advantage of electric driving is that you do not have to change gears yourself, a wish regularly expressed by our drivers.

More electric vans will be added to our fleet in the coming months. In addition, 7 diesel vans will be replaced by electric Peugeots 208 by the summer for a specific field of work at Field Force.
