2020, the year of… waste?

16 June 2020

2020. It should have been the year of waste at Allinq, but it became the year of corona. Nevertheless, team QHSSE, responsible for our quality, health, safety, security and environment, has worked hard (in addition to all actions concerning corona) in the area of sustainability. Additionally, sustainable driving and the necessary certifications were part of the program. Saskia van ‘t Veen; QHSSE Sustainability Coordinator: “Sustainable entrepreneurship is central to Allinq. We are aware of our impact on the environment and are committed to improving the environment.” A small summary.

Waste separation has been of paramount importance to Allinq for years, just like recycling; looking for repurposing of our waste such as old street cabinets. With the new waste manual, the redesign of our street for environmental sustainability and an internal awareness campaign, the separation of waste is further optimized this year.

“We are pleased with the pleasant cooperation and the efforts that Allinq makes in this process. Together we go for the sustainable win-win!”"

Daan Helming, KPN

Our client KPN also plays an important role in this process. Daan Helming, Senior consultant Sustainability & Circularity of KPN: “In 2020 we will strive for a 25% reduction in our industrial waste. Together we look at improving processes and stimulating the reuse and waste separation of materials. We are pleased with the pleasant cooperation and the efforts that Allinq makes in this process. Together we go for the sustainable win-win!”

Renewed certifications

Also, in 2020 we were tested by KIWA and again passed with flying colors. The ISO certificates, VCA and CKB have been retained. Something we of course are very proud of!
